Winners – 2018 Private Equity Financial Modeling Case Competition
The 2018 Financial Modeling Competition was a competitive Private Equity case competition. Participants received a Confidential Information Memorandum on a Private Company – Shox Suspensions International Inc.
All contestants had to submit 3 documents: an excel financial model, a presentation, and a short video showcasing their analysis and investment recommendation. Submissions were judged based on all three components. The following participants submitted the best cases and were awarded cash prizes that totaled $10,000! Oliver is a student at the University of Oxford with work experience in investment banking at Goldman Sachs and management consulting at Bayer AG.
Oliver’s thorough analysis in the 2018 Financial Modeling Competition granted him the first place along with a $7,000 cash prize.
Bolortseren Boldtseren, FMVA™
Bolortseren is a Senior Accountant & Finance Manager with over 10 years of experience working for both governmental and private companies. He has completed the Financial Model and Valuation Analyst (FMVA)® Designation.
His case awarded him the second place on the competition along with a $2,000 cash prize.
JangHan Yoon is a Research Associate for KB Securities in South Korea. JangHan is a CFA Charterholder and a CIIA who is currently pursuing the Financial Modeling and Valuation Analyst (FMVA)® Designation.
His case awarded him the 3rd place on the competition along with a US$ 1,000 cash prize.
